Pre-Concert Music Talk
To enhance enjoyment of our Gloria! concert, Professor Paul Merkley will give a brief talk about the artistry and history of the major pieces in the program before the concert from 1:30-1:45 in the main (second floor) lobby of Koerner Hall.
Paul Merkley is a retired professor of music history, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and he holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University. As the co-founder of Seniors Junction, he teaches online classes to seniors who want a more musical retirement. Click here to listen…
